This brake master cylinder is for the AE86 with early type horizontal two bolt brake booster and for the KE70 (all E7 series corollas).
A must do upgrade if you purchase any sort of big brake kit from here or anywhere else. Big brake kits usually have larger fluid capacity compared to the oem AE86 or E7 series brake systems. If the brake master cylinder is kept stock, the result is excessive brake pedal movement and spongy feel of the brake system, in many cases, insufficient braking performance. This is caused by the too small bore diameter of the stock master cylinder in relation to the piston area of the calipers.
These brake master cylinders are TRW made items that fit plug and play to the E7 series and AE86 early type brake system and will work well with the 4 piston front calipers and large rear calipers. Cheapest upgrade, brand new parts readily available, rebuild kits are easy to get.
Minor brake hard line bending is necessary on installation.
